Make – George and Ginger Happy Array Throwback Tee

I was part of the pattern testing group for this new pattern from George & Ginger and I have to say I had so much fun making this tee. The Throwback Tee pattern has 4 different versions, but I knew as soon as I say it that the Happy Array version had my name on it. I also knew instantly, that I would be using this gorgeous leopard knit to make it.
4 awesome versions to make
fits up to 53" bust / 59" hip
panelled sections so well drafted, sewing was a dream
As is the case with so many of my knit fabrics, both the black cotton jersey and the leopard print cotton jersery were purchased from Lamazi Fabrics. Personally, I think the mix of the leopard and black with this design really does make it something different – I’d love to know what you think!
You can find the pattern for the Throwback Tee at George & Ginger. Its a bargain at only $6 USD….. I was not obligated to post this from my test. Am doing so only because I think this is a great pattern!

With this version of the pattern I added the neck and arm bands in the leopard print fabric too for a bit of detail too but to be honest this particular version is all about the back. This was my first time of making a panelled pattern like this and I was a bit nervous that I wouldn’t get crisp joins and points, but the pattern really was so incredibly well drafted it was a doddle. I made this up in super quick time…. and am now planning my next !
